Well this is what ya find in remodels ..... termite and or ant damage ....

window is going to be wider as well as closet ,so out it comes ...

all cleaned up not to bad of damage

this is kinda the plan below..... changes as I go ......

A good cool rainey night on January 24, 2012 so built the beam to hold up ceiling where wall was removed below

ready for archway from kitchen to den ...... will be load carrying, 6 layers of 2x6 to carry the 2x8 den ceiling ..

constructed a window box out of plywood first .....

now 3x5 window seat

all cleaned up wil wrap in hardie panel siding ...and re brick under window

Arch in eating area .... will house a tv

going for a look loke this below . some kind of stone inlay .... fireplace in den will match whatever I use

expresso color 2" blind fitted as well

Sheetrock has commenced ......

new closet added to plan ..... it`s triangle shape but perfect for vacuum cleaner ..

pantry door fitted and first radius corner on the sheetrock .......

all cleaned up ...... for now ...... jammin to the eagles dvd ......

Raising the ceiling in the kitchen ......

ceiling is now 18 inches higher ......
